What: Summer Film Series at the Avon Public Library to Examine "Freedom of the Press"
Where: Avon Free Public Library, 281 Country Club Road, Avon, CT 06001
When: Ongoing Sundays beginning April 8th, 3pm - 4pm
The ongoing Summer Film series at the Avon Public Library will examine the theme of the "freedom of the press". The series is part of the "Revisiting the Founding Era" programming grant that explores the power of the media and its influence on American culture. Professor Robert Kagan, of CCSU and University of Hartford will provide commentary and post-film discussion of several of the films. Refreshments are provided by The Avon Historical Society.
