• Branford River State Ramp to Branford Harbor. South off US 1 onto Route 142 a Left on Stannard Avenue to Goodsell Point Road, and left into the dirt access road and parking area. Steep ramp, seasonal weekend and holiday parking fee.

• Branford High School, East Main Street. Parking in school lot. Car-top boat access to Branford River. Put-in area south of football field; no fee.

Westbrook
• Kirtland Landing, Old Clinton Road. Small boat launch ramp into Menunketeseck River, two miles from river mouth at Sound, no fee.

Old Lyme
• Four Mile River State Boat Launch, Oakridge Drive in Ridgewood neighborhood. Car-top boat access and boat launch ramp into Four Mile River. Launch at high tide, parking area, no fee.

• Great Island State Boat Launch, Smith Neck Road. Car-top boat access and boat launch ramp into Great Island estuary -- launch according to tides, parking area, seasonal fee.

• Lieutenant River State Boat Launch, Route 156 Bridge, off Ferry Road, Car-top boat access only, parking area, no fee.

• Old Lyme Ferry Road Launch Site and Dock, At end of Ferry Road, off Route 156. Car-top boat access only, directly to CT River, floating dock, small beach, no fee.

• Pilgrim Landing, Neck Road (Route 156), north of Baldwin Bridge and Old Lyme Marina. Car-top boat access and small boat launch ramp into CT River, small parking area, no fee.

• Smith Neck Town Landing, Smith Neck Road. Car-top boat access into Great Island estuary. Check tide charts. Very small parking area, picnic area, no fee.

• Tantummaheag Town Landing, Tantummaheag Road. Undeveloped car-top boat launch area, directly into CT River at high tide only. Parking on street for only one car, no fee.

Guilford
• Guilford Town Marina at the town dock at foot of Whitfield Street (203-453-8092). One transient slip; boat launch ramp (non-resident day use $20). Phone and restrooms.

• Jacob's Beach, Whitfield Street to Seaside Avenue. Car-top boat access. Seasonal fee.

• Lake Quonnipaug Route 77. Car-top boat access in town-owned area near south end. Parking fee. State boat launch, northern end wiht no fee.

Clinton
• Clinton Town Beach, Waterside Lane. Car-top boat access. Route 1 to Waterside Lane. Seasonal fee.

• Clinton Town Marina, Riverside Drive. Boat launch and car-top boat access directly to Clinton Harbor and Long Island Sound. Seasonal fee.

Old Saybrook
• Baldwin Bridge State Boat Launch, Ferry Road under Baldwin Bridge. Large facility with access pier, car-top boat access and boat launch ramp. Parking area, no fee.

• Old Saybrook Town Dock, end of Sheffield Street. Car-top boat access only- parking available, with pass, at OS Middle School, no fee.

• South Cove Boat Launch, Knollwood Avenue. Unmarked area at end of cul-de-sac. car-top boat access only, to South Cove. Closed at low tide, no fee.

• Town of Old Saybrook Boat Launch, North Cove Road. Concrete ramp for trailered boats, parking area, no fee.

Madison
• Hammonasset State Park at Meigs Point. One mile south of exit 62 off 1-95. Car-top boats or carry-in access only. Launch over sandy beach. Shallow at low tide. No docking or anchoring. No launch fee. Parking fee on weekends and holidays in season.

• East River State Boat Launch East bank of the East River in Guilford. Madison Access from Route 1, Boston Post Road — travel south approximately 2 miles on Neck Road, Ridgewood Avenue, and Circle Beach Road to a right turn onto a gravel drive to the riverbank. Ramp only. No slips or moorings, no fuel or services, portable toilet in season only, no fee.

• Madison Town Beaches at Surf Club Road, West Wharf Road, and East Wharf Road. Access piers and car-top boat launches. No rafts or inflatables. Parking fees in season.parking available, with pass, at OS Middle School, no fee.
• South Cove Boat Launch, Knollwood Avenue. Unmarked area at end of cul-de-sac. car-top boat access only, to South Cove. Closed at low tide, no fee.
• Town of Old Saybrook Boat Launch, North Cove Road. Concrete ramp for trailered boats, parking area, no fee.
